Financial aid

We want to make the conference as accessible as possible to attendees regardless of income. To help achieve this we have kept the registration costs as low as possible. The three sponsoring organisations have also covered the costs of room hire, administration and some travel costs for speakers.

In addition to this, we want to be able to offer bursary places to help cover the costs of travel and accommodation for those on low income. We will waive conference fees for each bursary offered. We will be prioritising those from disadvantaged backgrounds, especially former prisoners, in allocated these limited funds, and sadly will not be able to offer everyone a bursary. The extent of our bursary offer is dependent on the number of donations we receive. We ask attendees to bear this in mind when applying for a bursary.

Would you be able to make a donation to help support someone to come to the event?  Put simply, the more money donated, the more bursary places we can offer. Please make a donation via our fundraising page, will be posted here shortly.

If you would like to apply for financial aid, please fill out the bursary request form.

The deadline for bursary requests is Saturday 31 March 2018 but we encourage those applying to submit requests as early as possible, so we have a sense of how much fundraising is needed.
